Lee Martin

Lee Martin, ASA

After military service and college, Lee Martin began his career with Penn-Dixie Cement Corporation, managing sales territories across the Southeast. He later joined Olin Corporation’s construction equipment division, where he advanced to Southern Regional Manager.

He gained hands-on production experience as VP of Sales for a leading architectural precast supplier in the Atlanta market. In 1981, he led the North American launch of Zenith-Maschinenfabrik GmbH, serving as President of Zenith Equipment, Inc. through 2004 and supplying concrete production machinery and plant solutions across the region. He concluded his career as a Sales Executive with Pathfinder Systems, retiring in 2009.

Mr. Martin has held leadership roles with the National Concrete Masonry Association and the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI), where he served as a charter member, committee chair, board member, Secretary-Treasurer, and Executive Committee member. He is an ICPI Honorary Member and past president of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers.

He earned the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation through extensive coursework and thousands of hours of valuation experience in Machinery & Technical Specialties. His deep expertise in concrete production equipment underpins his trusted, industry-leading valuations.

Thomas Faulkner

Thomas Faulkner, AM

A 2015 graduate of Kennesaw State University with a degree in Sports Management, Mr. Faulkner began his sales career with Freud America, specializing in cutting tool accessories. He later transitioned into the concrete equipment industry, joining iwi Concrete Equipment Group as an Outside Sales Representative.

With over nine years of equipment sales experience, he has developed expertise in new and used concrete production equipment. His role at iwi has provided hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing batch plant components, giving him a strong technical foundation in addition to sales knowledge.

Mr. Faulkner is also active in brokering ready-mix, block, pipe, and wet-cast equipment, allowing him to evaluate equipment across both wholesale and retail markets. He currently holds the designation of Accredited Member in Machinery and Technical Specialties with the American Society of Appraisers and contributes to inspections and valuation assignments with technical and market insight.

Having grown up in a family involved in designing and selling batch plants, Mr. Faulkner combines lifelong industry exposure with professional expertise, making him a knowledgeable and trusted appraiser in the concrete equipment field.

Dan Faulkner

Dan Faulkner

After college, Dan Faulkner began his career in the concrete industry at Ideal Steel Products fabricating custom concrete batch plants. He became VP and General Manager and was responsible for the complete layout and design of both batch plant and other specialty equipment. In 1985, he developed and patented a long wearing conveyor idler roller which the company marketed. In 1993, he started working with WAM, Inc. to bring their unique screw conveyor to the US and arranged for its manufacture in the US. In 1997, he became Manufacturing Director when WAM erected their plant in Georgia.

Dan joined iwi in 2002 and brought a wealth of experience to iwi group both with his practical knowledge of the concrete industry and his creative approach to resolving manufacturing problems. His extensive knowledge of the design and manufacturing of concrete batching equipment and industrial conveying equipment gives him a unique advantage in assessing the value of various types of equipment related to the concrete industry.

Because of his knowledge and ability and his contribution to the growth of iwi group, LLC, he was made a partner in 2007.

Dan is a member of the ASA and brings a wealth of experience with his practical knowledge of equipment design and his creative approach to resolving manufacturing problems. His expertise in batch plant equipment and the ready-mix industry has allowed him to have a wide range of knowledge with the valuation of these industries.

Richard Isaacson

Richard Isaacson

Richard Isaacson graduated from the University of Alabama in 1986 with a major in Marketing and a minor in Computer Science. After four years of sales experience in both the electronics and chemical industries, he joined I & F Equipment, Inc. and became vice-president of sales. His principal activity was head of the used sales department, both in the domestic and the international marketplace.

Mr. Isaacson is currently responsible for the used sales department, domestically and internationally, as well as head of product marketing and advertising at iwi group in addition to being called upon for consulting services regarding plant equipment. Mr. Isaacson is an owner/partner at iwi group LLC.

Richard currently sits on the Outreach Committee for the NPCA and is the Vice Chair of the Icon Expo Advisory Committee for the new Concrete Masonry and Hardscapes Association.

His past experiences include being one of the few Associate Members who has sat on the Board of Directors for both the National Concrete Masonry Association and the National Precast Concrete Association. He also was Chairman of the National Precast Concrete Association Foundation. He has sat on the Safety, Health and Environmental Committee, Quality Assurance, Education, Marketing, Membership, and Engineering & Technology Committee committees for NPCA. In addition, he also sat on the NCMA's membership task force and the Masonry Expo subcommittee. He was also elected to serve on the Exhibitor Council, a joint venture between NPCA and NCMA. All of these relations have given him deep insight into our industry.

Retired

Larry Isaacson, ASA

Larry Isaacson graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1953 and served two years in the U.S. Army. He began his career with American Cyanamid in Research & Development, later becoming Technical Product Manager for the Formica Division, where he conducted detailed manufacturing cost analyses.

In 1968, he purchased a concrete block company in Atlanta, Georgia. After selling the land in 1979, he liquidated the plant equipment and transitioned into buying, selling, and brokering used concrete production equipment across domestic and international markets. He is a founding partner of iwi group LLC and continues to provide consulting and appraisal expertise in the industry.

To further his professional credentials, Mr. Isaacson earned the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation in Machinery & Technical Specialties through the American Society of Appraisers. He is a past president of the ASA Atlanta Chapter and served as the Georgia state representative at the national level.

His appraisal services have supported insurance companies, financial institutions, equipment manufacturers, and private firms. He has also provided expert testimony in U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Middle District of Georgia and the Northern District of Florida, as well as in other civil cases.

Although retired from the ASA, Mr. Isaacson remains a trusted resource for equipment valuation and appraisal peer review.
